The quiz show that gets personal
Beat The Box is not your traditional quiz show with typical responses to trivia questions. Here, inquiry leads to storytelling, and things get up close and personal.
Teams are made up of friends, colleagues or family members, who play in the comfort of a home. Together their knowledge is tested by the contents of a quiz box, which contains an array of questions, riddles and tasks. Though players sit at a table with a box at the centre, certain topics require them to spring into action, using props and accessories to illustrate their answers, all in a humorous way.
In addition to demonstrating their savvy and understanding of a given topic, players must draw from their personal lives to further elaborate
on their responses. Prompted by nostalgic themes, players are given the chance to share their life stories with one another and the viewers, allowing for a unique opportunity for human connection. From the emotional to the humorous, Beat The Box is a refreshing blend of sincerity and play, dialogue and banter.
In each episode, four teams are featured. They are not in competition with one another but share identical questions. Cameras cut from one group to the next to compare and contrast the answers and antics, highlighting both commonality, diversity and humor.

Building a bridge, creating a divide
The Bridge offers 15 strangers a life-changing opportunity. Isolated deep in the wild, they have one thing in common: they all want to get their hands on a 100.000 treasure. The cash prize lies a mere 300 metres away. There is one problem though. Between them and the treasure lies a river. The only way to cross it is by building a bridge with just their bare hands and a few basic manual tools and supplies, and it all must be done within 30 days.
If they successfully reach the treasure in time, the final question remains: who will keep the money? The physical adventure might be over, but the mind games begin. Each competitor must cast a vote for another person to win the treasure. Prior to the vote, individuals have the opportunity to strike alliances in order to increase their chances of winning as a group and sharing in the riches.
Ultimately the person with the most votes wins and can choose to keep all the money or share it with their allies. Making it to that final coveted spot requires a game plan based on strategy, negotiation and trust. The sole person to prevail has the power to override any prior agreements and act with complete impunity. Will the victor choose to keep promises and share the wealth or burn bridges and hoard the treasure?

Can you still see the best in people when events demand that you see the worst?
Fictional tale of the phenomenon of cults and their destructive consequences
Harem is inspired by cults in Israel, including one led by a mystic healer who lives in Tel Aviv with 32 wives who birthed him 89 children. In Harem, the healer evaded authorities by isolating his huge “family” from society for 20 years. The women accepted his lifestyle voluntarily. Until…
Two sisters – Maya, who is already a part of the cult, and Hagar, who is still in high school and living with her parents – become intoxicated with Shabtai, the cult leader. At Shabtai’s insistence, Maya encourages Hagar to come “into the light” and join the cult.
The series begins with Maya reaching out to her estranged family for the first time in two years, leading her parents to mistakenly believe she is reaching out for help. But instead, Maya evokes her true beliefs in the cult and ends up drawing Hagar into Shabtai’s “family” as well, to the dismay of the girls’ parents who are terrified they will forever lose their daughters.
In a battle for Hagar, Maya files a false sexual misconduct complaint with the police against her father, causing social services to remove Hagar from her parents’ house. However, Shabtai’s tentacles – as a healer, a teacher, a guru, and a ruthless manipulator – reach out beyond his immediate “family”. The foster home in which Hagar is placed turns out to be, in fact, a channel Shabtai has created for recruiting more potential “wives” at a stage when they are vulnerable – and still legally minors.
As we dive into the attempts to free the sisters from Shabtai’s grip, we see how submission can be intoxicating. We follow in detail how charisma and psychological manipulation can ensnare even a right-minded, strong-headed girl like Hagar. As Hagar journeys into the cult, she begins to reveal the secrets hidden behind the thin veil of ‘New Age-sounding’ religious talk – especially the secret concerning a young girl named Tamar and her presence in the cult. This disturbing secret shakes Hagar as she realizes the extent of Shabtai’s domination, leading her to become the agent of Shabtai’s downfall.
What does it mean to be human?
What happens when technology has advanced to the point where it begins to truly take over our lives, affecting our relationships? Humans is a thrilling new drama written by Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley (Spooks: The Greater Good) set in a parallel present where the latest must-have gadget for any busy family is a ‘Synth’ – a highly-developed robotic servant eerily similar in appearance to humans. These incredible machines share our homes, our jobs and our lives and so become the objects of our fear, lust, hatred, affection and even love.
Warm, funny, but like any other, the Hawkins family are loving, but flawed. In the hope of transforming the way they live, they purchase a Synth. When Joe (Tom Goodman-Hill, Mr Selfridge) brings home Anita (Gemma Chan, Sherlock), he hopes to ease the domestic pressure and repair the growing fractures in his marriage with Laura (Katherine Parkinson, The Honourable Woman, The IT Crowd). Instead he risks losing everything he holds dear. On the surface, Anita is what all Synths are supposed to be – but every now and then, she does something inexplicable. Something almost human. How real is her apparent perfection? Is she something altogether more threatening?
As the line between human and machine increasingly blurs, Anita’s arrival triggers more compelling stories and introduces a raft of new characters: George Millican (William Hurt, A History of Violence), Leo (Colin Morgan, Merlin), Vera (Rebecca Front, The Thick Of It), Peter (Neil Maskell, Utopia) and Niska (Emily Berrington, 24: Live Another Day).
Sinister, thrilling and packed full of emotion, Humans boldly explores the rapidly evolving relationship between humanity and technology and asks what does it really mean to be “human”?

The quiz show that puts obscure knowledge to the test
In Pointless, contestants try to score as few points as possible by plumbing the depths of their general knowledge to come up with the answers no one else can think of.
Every question has already been asked before the show to a panel of 100 people to find out the most obvious and the most obscure answers. Pairs of contestants compete for a cash prize by finding the least obvious answers and scoring the fewest points. Points correspond to the number of people who answered the survey.
The holy grail is a pointless answer a correct answer that none of the 100 people thought of. If a contestant is able to find that answer in the short time allotted he earns the unbeatable score of zero. On the other hand, if the contestants answer has been said by a lot of people in the panel, hes slammed with many points, putting him at great risk for elimination. In the end, the person with the lowest overall score walks away with the cash prize.

There’s still room though for a dash of humour and a spoonful of friendly banter. In no time at all, the meals are ready for the audiences inspection, and their verdict on the winning dish.

Your Face Sounds Familiar is the talent competition that pushes a group of celebrities to take on a new identity as an iconic music performer.
Every week, the same group of celebrities find out who they have to impersonate. Each presses a buzzer from a random selector to determine which famous singer they will be. Vocal coaches, choreographers, make-up artists and stylists are ready to prep them for their big performance.
A panel of judges and competing celebrities award points for various merits. There are no eliminations. The scores are tallied in each show, ranking the contestants from first to last.
After each performance, the celebrities must press the buzzer again to find out who they will impersonate next. The four highest scoring celebrities qualify for the series final. The final winner receives the top cash prize for a charity of their choice.
Can the impersonator outperform the original artist?
The fun and laughs don’t just stop with celebrities. In the latest spin-off from the original hit format, anonymous contestants must vie to be better than the original icon they are impersonating.
In each episode, ten talented anonymous contestants take the stage to perform an impersonation of their choice. The top four, ranked by the jury, continue through the competition while the audience decides which lucky performer will push forward to the finale. The three remaining finalists face the iconic buzzer to determine their next performance, and where it lands will certainly surprise and bring a few laughs. At this point, the finalists can decide whether to stay in the competition and continue competing for a place in the finale, or give up and drop out of the competition entirely. The most versatile and daring contestants can battle it out throughout several episodes, before competing in the series finale.
Who will make us forget the original icon, win the cash prize and possibly become a new celebrity?

The Wall gives, The Wall takes away
The Wall is a wildly unpredictable, fast and simple game show with huge cash sums on the line. Two players must work together to tackle the mammoth four-story-high wall. Emotions run high as the pair’s faith in one another is tested by unpredictable outcomes and ever-rising stakes. The rules are simple. If the players answer a trivia question correctly the ball turns green as it falls randomly down the wall towards slots of varying cash amounts. These amounts are then added to the player’s prize pot. However, answer a question incorrectly and the ball turns red and will deduct the amount from the player’s totals from the slot it lands in. In the first round the players both answer the questions while in the second round they are split with one entering an isolation booth and one controlling The Wall based on if they think their partner has answered right or wrong. In the final round, the isolated player must choose between signing a contract for a set amount of money or taking a bet to see if their partner has been lucky with The Wall. Filled with a roller coaster of emotions, heart stopping moments and big wins and big losses, what The Wall gives, The Wall can take away.
